Business Summary
The portfolio of Ciputra Development comprises development in several business segments such as housing, hotels, shopping centers, apartments, office space, recreational places and related facilities. Locations of its projects have expanded to the Greater Jakarta area, Surabaya and surrounding areas of other cities on Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Bali. The company also offers services related to design, development, and maintenance of housing facilities.
Residential projects form the largest revenue source for the company as it has a higher number of residential projects (and which have higher economic growth) than commercial property projects.
In terms of geographical distribution, the Jakarta area contributes the most to Ciputra Development's assets, revenues and net profit. This area is the most populous area of Indonesia and, as such, is in need of much property development.
One of the company's mega-projects is Ciputra World 1, located in a commercial district of Jakarta and which will be fully operational by the end of 2013. Another mega-project, Ciputra World 2, is scheduled to commence operations in 2015.
