Alam Sutera Realty has become an integrated property developer that focuses on its business activities in the construction and management of residential, commercial areas, industrial areas, and also the management of shopping centers, recreation centers and hospitality (including large-scale townships).

In 1994, the company began to develop its first project in an integrated area named Alam Sutera, located in Serpong (Tangerang). Development of the first phase of Alam Sutera has been completed, and the company is currently focused on the development of the second phase which involves the development of a commercial area. Along with the development of the second phase of Alam Sutera, in 2012 the company began to market the Suvarna Padi Golf Estate project (in Tangerang) and acquired several assets on strategic locations in Bali as well as office towers in Jakarta.
A large portion of revenue is derived from the sale of land lots and the residential and commercial properties that are developed by the company in the Alam Sutera township, and to a lesser extent, rental income from leased property in the township and sale of land lots in the Pasar Kemis township.
