PT Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (PP London Sumatra Indonesia, or, Lonsum) is an Indonesian plantation company focused on the production of palm oil, rubber, tea and cocoa. Its estates - covering over 110,000 hectares - are located on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. Lonsum, one of the oldest Indonesian plantation companies, is controlled by the Salim Group, one of the country's leading conglomerates.

Business Summary
Palm products accounted for around 85 percent of the company's sales volume in 2013. Rubber's share towards sales volume is roughly 8 percent. Between 85 and 90 percent of total production is sold on the domestic market, the remainder exported. As of 1 January 2014, Lonsum has a total of 89,845 hectares of oil palm plantations across its nucleus estates. It operates a total of 11 palm oil mills: four in North Sumatra, six in South Sumatra and one in East Kalimantan. Total annual processing capacity of these mills is 2,295,000 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB).
Lonsum’s rubber is produced in the estates on North Sumatra, South Sumatra and South Sulawesi. By the end of 2013, the company’s nucleus rubber plantation area covered 17,300 hectares, of which 28 percent is still immature. Lonsum operates four rubber factories (including four crumb rubber production lines that have a processing capacity of 42,720 tons per annum) and three sheet rubber production lines (with a processing capacity of 11,100 tons per annum).
PP London Sumatra Indonesia also owns cocoa plantations in East Java, North Sulawesi and North Sumatra, as well as tea plantations in West Java.
